Apologies and the notion of real forgiveness are such difficult topics in life, relationships…and therapy. For many, it can feel like giving in or giving up but the evidence shows working through apologies and forgiveness can be enormously powerful and therapeutic. Apologies however aren’t easy and many of us don’t really know how to give an effective apology. I have seen in my own research some good components. This article gives some ideas too.
