In my practice in Hamilton, ON, I work with older teens, adults, couples, and families. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, couples challenges including infertility, IVF, betrayals, loss of intimacy, family conflict, estrangement, reunification, burnout, parenting, divorce and separation, grief and loss, women specific challenges including menopause and perimenopause. I also work with first responders, other trauma facing professionals and health care workers. I consider myself a relationship, attachment, and trauma informed therapist and that informs how I use the different tools and my approach with my clients overall. I have lived and worked in Hamilton for over a decade and feel I know and understand the challenges families, individuals and couples face in this city and the surrounding area.
My office is conveniently located at 287 Main Street West in the Kirkendall and Locke Street area of Hamilton and near downtown. The office is close to the 403 (Main St East and Aberdeen cutoffs) and also by bus which travels east along main. If you are coming from nearby Burlington or Waterdown by bus, the Go bus offers convenient schedules and will drop you off at Pearl Street on Main. It is just a short walk from there.
My offices are a short drive from Ancaster, Dundas, Stoney Creek, Burlington, and Hamilton Mountain. Clients come in from these locations as well as Burlington, Oakville, Niagara, Grimsby and Caledonia. I also offer online therapy across Ontario and in some other Canadian provinces.
I also offer online and walking-talking therapy as well.
