Marriages and other partnerships are under great stress with isolation, a lack of support, precarious employment, uncertain futures, a collective grief and anxiety. That stress is then compounded by pre-existing problems regarding communication and intimacy or parenting differences — problems that could be avoided or just not adequately addressed before the pandemic when we kept ourselves very very busy.
