Navigating online Communication

With so much of our communication now happening online such as through social media and text, it is no wonder that words and tone are so often misinterpreted and blown out of propotion. Much of my work helping clients better communicate (both as givers and receivers) happens by looking at how they initiate, respond to and interpret online conversations. In counseling and psychotherapy, we work on expectations, faulty belief systems and emotional regulation much of the time. This short article provides helpful tips working in those areas around those ‘cold emails’ we have all received.
